Video Friday! 8/12/11
Happy Friday one and all! Here are some great videos that popped up this week.
This remake of the classic Pinball Number 12 brought back some nice memories. It's one of the few old timey bits they still play on Sesame Street.
Cuddle like a pro with Uncle Jesse himself with the help of a very special friend.
I have been pretty vocal about my feelings on Google+, but I think this sums it up better.

Video Friday! 5/6/11
Hello everyone! I have taken control of Video Friday again. The battle between me and Wilderowens was long and difficult but in the end, I was victorious! Bwuahahahaha! Let us begin.
Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow. It is one of my favorite days because I love getting exposed to new books and it's free! If you are unfamiliar with this awesome day, here's a video talking about why it is so great. Thanks JC for sending it to me.
This is just neat. It's a gorgeous mutation of Batman's logo over the years. Until this, I hadn't realized just how many incarnations the logo had.

This totally made me melt. Most females know that many males are forgetful about things like anniversaries. So it's usually a surprise (a nice one) when the male not only remembers but goes above and beyond and does something heartfelt and wonderfully geeky. I'm probably completely nuts for saying this but I would definitely take this over a box of chocolates any day... and I really love chocolate.

May 4th was Star Wars Day! A day to celebrate all that is Star Wars, good and bad. In my search for Star Wars videos, I came across this video done by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. All I could think was how did I miss it? Enjoy!
Finally, do you know what came out today? Thor! It's finally here and I am super excited for it. It looks like it will be a great film. But you know who has reservations about it? Conan O'Brien. He's a little concerned that the wrong guy was cast as Thor. Here's what he has to say.

Video Friday! 4/15/11
It's Friday and you know what that means... Videos! What does this week have store for us? Let's find out.
Remember VH1's Behind the Music? They covered many great and not so great musicians, but not necessarily the ones you wanted to see. Well, finally, a long underappreciated artist has gotten the due he deserves.
This is probably my favorite video of the week. A young girl was given the opportunity to join the 'Dark Side' and her response was not what was expected.
Here's a great interpretation of one of the best known themes in all of geekdom... or at least a lot of geekdom.
This vid has two great features to it: Sarah Silverman and Serenading Unicorn. Both funny and disturbing, it'll make you rethink interspecies relations. Enjoy!
Cashing in on the current trends is the sequel to the much loved movie, When Harry Met Sally. I think I'd be willing to see this in theater. How about you?

St. Patrick's Day was yesterday, and I don't know about you but I'm still feeling a little green. No, I'm not sick from alcohol poisoning. I'm just feeling the spirit of the holiday. So we're going to celebrate with St. Patrick's Day inspired videos.

Video Friday!!!
It's that time again...
McBain - The Movie???
The awesome folks at CollegeHumor have done it again. Putting together all the McBain clips from The Simpsons, they have created what looks to be a great action flick.
This guy is amazing! I don't know how Eklips does it, and I think some of the magic would disappear if I did, I just know I want him to keep doing what he does.
3 Minutes
I think I nearly died from the sheer amounts of geeky awesomeness. This stars two of my favorite dancers, Harry Shum Jr. (Glee) and Stephen "tWitch" Boss (SYTYCD), in action roles... oh, and did I mention lightsabers? Yeah, they're in there too. All it needed was a soundtrack from a beloved 80's cartoon and I would have gone to nerd heaven.

I have to admit I was a little surprised at how good a job they did. I expected JT to pull it off, but Jimmy Fallon surprised me. As great as the guys sounded, I think I liked the dancing and facial expressions even more, They looked like they had a ball doing it.
To finish things off, as you know, yesterday was Chinese New Year. It is the Year of the Rabbit. To celebrate, the ever elusive @Getsuyobi (yes, he's still around trying to defend his masculinity) found this little gem...
