It's time for the latest toy review from Matthew and me. This time it's Jjuno the Crusher from Mythic Legions: Advent of Decay line by the Four Horsemen.
Just look at that hair and face and exceptionally large weapon she's holding. She's pretty badass.

If you haven't guessed it by now, Titan Vinyls are some of my favorite items to review. There's so much variety and style to them. I love the franchises they get, even if I don't know all of them. The work they do is so creative. Take the Beatles and the Yellow Submarine waves. I never would have thought I'd want a line like this, but I do. It's just so much fun, and Matt and I had a chance to review the Yellow Submarine "All Together Now" deluxe black and white figures from Titan Merchandise.

One of the awesome goodies Matt at Nerd News Today and I were able to acquire at Toy Fair 2018 is the Kidrobot Megatron and Cobra Commander vinyl figures based off of IDW Comics "Transformers VS GI Joe" comic series by Tom Scioli and John Barber. I'm not as familiar with the comic series, but I'm a big Transformers and GI Joe fan. I wouldn't have initially thought to combine Kidrobot with these franchises, but I was wrong. I love this style, and the boxes alone make me want to display them somewhere. Watch the video to see the rest of our thoughts on this.

I think I've spoken about this before, but I have a serious minifig addiction. If I could, I'd have an army of minifigs lined up all around my home. Luckily, I don't have enough space (or money) to do that, but whenever I get the chance, I have a tendency to buy as many blind bags as I can.
Ninjago is a little weird for me. I don't really know the franchise. I've only watched a little of the show, and I've seen most of the movie. I was going to initially pass up on these blind bags, but then I saw what was included in this wave, and I was done.
I grabbed Matt from Nerd News Today, and the rest is history. Here's what happened.

As a palate cleanser from the Rick and Morty debacle, Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I decided to have some fun and put together a couple of LEGO Brickheadz. Captain Phasma and Finn are part of the Star Wars collection of Brickheadz. Rey and Kylo Ren complete the set of four.
We filmed this immediately after completing the Rick and Morty set, and to be completely honest, I was still a bit wrecked from that, but I love these Brickheadz. I find them weirdly therapeutic, and because of that, my collection keeps growing. Check out the video and see what I'm talking about.

Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I are back with the grand finale of our Rick and Morty construction sets by McFarlane Toys adventure. Adventure is I think the best way to describe it, because there have been many ups and downs regarding this series.
And then we get to this. The largest set of the line, the Spaceship and Garage. 293 pieces. As you can probably tell from the thumbnail, a little stress might have been involved. Due to the nature of the set instructions, it's really hard for two people to try and work on this set at the same time, so Matthew let me handle the construction. Emotions were involved. Lots of emotions. So, buckle up, strap in, and watch as I descend slowly into madness as I attempt to put this set together.
If you want to know what happened after the cameras turned off, sound off in the comments and I'll reveal the rest. I hope you enjoyed my pain.

As you know, Playmobil launched a Ghostbusters line of playsets, which Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I reviewed. You can find those here, here, here, here, here, and here. Well, Playmobil is back with more. This time, it's Ghostbusters 2, and we are reviewing Peter Venkman.

I don't know Japanese toys at all. Kotobukiya is probably the brand I know best. I like Japanese toys when I see them, but I just don't spend time with them. Which is precisely why Matthew from NerdNewsToday put together a Japanese version of the Blind Bag Random Figure Review Rumble 1. Yeesh! Talk about a mouthful. If you have any suggestions as to a new name, sound off in the comments. Otherwise, enjoy!

When NerdNewsToday's Matthew approached me about teaming up for these toy review videos, I didn't know what to expect. Of all the different toys I thought we might review, you know who I didn't think of? Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. But here we are.
First seen at last year's Toy Fair, these Fisher-Price minis are not what you'd expect. How do you take an established show and create a bunch of minis that kids will keep begging their parents to get more of? Simple. You create a ton of variants. And that's what they did.
What's also great about the minis is you can get franchise versions as sets. They have DC Comics and my favorite, the Power Rangers. But we're here to discuss blind bag minis, so here we go.

For this video, Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I decided to take a look at the Ripley and Power Loader vs. Alien Queen 3-pack from Funk ReAction.
If you've watched any of our other videos, you know we have issues with Funko, yet we keep coming back. Here's why: we want them to succeed. So we keep trying to find superior Funko products. Where does this stack up on the Funko meter? Watch and find out.

So this is how it goes - several random bags enter the ring. All bags are opened. The mastermind behind NerdNewsToday, Matthew, and I review the items. We determine our favorites.
I had no clue what was in any of these, but would I do it again? Heck yeah! This may be one of the most fun ways to play with blind bags/boxes.
As always, we take suggestions about things you think we should review. Sound off in the comments.

Continuing down the Rick and Morty portal, Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I are taking a look at the McFarlene Toys Smith Family Garage Rack construction set. Will we have better luck than with previous sets? Let's see.

Today, Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I are going to attempt to put together the Evil Rick and Morty construction set from McFarlane Toys. One of the things I like about this set is Evil Rick and Morty. It's as simple as that. I usually enjoy evil dopplegangers, and Rick and Morty delivered. As for how easy or difficult it is to build the set, watch on.

Of all the sets, Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I have been and will review of McFarlane Toys Rick and Morty construction set, this is the one I wanted to do the most. Nightmare of Elm Street is my jam. Freddy Kruger is my horror movie bae. Yes, I know how horrible he is, but no character has messed me up quite like Freddy, and I appreciate him for it. So, when Rick and Morty created their Freddy knockoff, Scary Terry, I was happy. When McFarlane Toys came out with the "You Can Run but You Can't Hide" Scary Terry construction set, thrilled and vowed to get my hands on it. And manhandle it I did.

The second video review of McFarlane Toys Rick and Morty construction sets is the one and only Ants in My Eyes Johnson Electronics. In case you didn't know, Ants in My Eyes Johnson has ants in his eyes! His prices are insane! Why? Because he can't see anything! Whooo!
Is this set a great deal or is it waiting to catch fire as AiME Johnson bumps into it? Find out as Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I bust it open and put it all together.

Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I are back with a review we have both been waiting to do. Today, we're going to be unboxing (unbagging?) the Target Exclusives Harry Potter Collectors Pins from FanSets.
A relatively young company, FanSets has exploded in the pin markets. They have an extensive collection of pins ranging from Justice League to Firefly to Harry Potter and to the franchise that really helped them cement their spot as the go-to place for awesome pins, Star Trek.
One of the things I love about them is their creativity. They don't just put out great products; they're really creative in their designs and execution. Like this for example. I never would have expected to see a blind bag collection for pins, but it works. It actually took me a while to find them. For weeks, every Target I went to was sold out. I got lucky. Take a look at the collection and let me know what you think.

"From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend; the legend of Voltron, Defender of the Universe..."
That's right! Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I got our hands on a few Voltron figures used off of the new show on Netflix. This review was to help me get through the long wait for new episodes.

"Let's begin it, Bear 'n grin it!, Spin it! Life is like a hurricane, Here in Duckburg,
There's no case too big, no case too small, When you need help just call,
(3-2-1) Darkwing Duck (When there's trouble you call DW)!" Feeling nostalgic yet? Matthew for NerdNewsToday and I are taking a trip down memory lane and unboxing the newest Funko blind boxes, the Disney Afternoon Mystery Minis, featuring characters from Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Talespin and Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers! More precisely, we're looking at the Gamestop Exclusives Edition.

I don't even know how to introduce this review. Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I were sent a box of Squishmallows from Kellytoy. They are possibly the softest, squishiest plushies I've ever come across. You have to see them to believe it.
However, as quote unquote "adults," it's a little difficult to properly judge and review a product like this, so we enlisted the help of a couple of people who Squishmallows is marketed to.
Believe me, you want to see this.
