YOU Can Attend the Premiere of DC's REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN

Gotta move fast to get tickets!

That's right,  Warner Bros. Entertainment is inviting you to the BI-COASTAL PREMIERES of REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Movies, in LOS ANGELES (January 10, 2019) and NEW YORK (January 28, 2019).

So you are probably interested in attending the premiere.  But first, here is some details on the film....

Reign of the Supermen finds Earth’s citizens – and the Man of Steel’s heroic contemporaries – dealing with a world without Superman. But the aftermath of Superman’s death, and the subsequent disappearance of his body, leads to a new mystery – is Superman still alive? The question is further complicated when four new super-powered individuals – Steel, Cyborg Superman, Superboy and the Eradicator – emerge to proclaim themselves as the ultimate hero. In the end, only one will be able to proclaim himself the world’s true Superman.

Snow Days Equal LEGO

As you may or may not know, [IGH] is based in New York City. We were scheduled for a giant, crazy, major storm this week. However, science happened and I was denied my chance to face plant myself into 3+ feet of snow. But because the city shut itself down, my day job followed suit and I got a snow day!!! 

Glorious snow day! How I missed you from my childhood. I couldnt just squander this precious gift on TV and the Internet. Why do chores when I can reenact snow days of old? In order to take full advantage of this uninterrupted playtime, I broke out my Legos.

I got this set as an event giveaway earlier in the week. And first, I set it up as the box suggested. One must follow the instructions. Sadly, this took way longer than it should. I obviously need to build more sets.

After it was all set up, I enacted the whole scene so Superman fails and Lois takes Zod down herself. Why? Because it's my snow day. Then I proudly showed it off to my roommate, who continued to do whatever grownup thing she was doing. All of this was followed by playing in the small amount of snow we got because it's still snow.

So, the next snow day you might be lucky enough to get, don't feel pressured to do grown up things. That's for the everyday pressures of life. Instead, break out your toys, sit on the floor and play.

[IGH] at the Movies: Man of Steel

This week marks the return of the first superhero to the big screen in Man of Steel.  Three of the [IGH] family got a chance to see it right before it opened and you know we all had different feelings.

Sunday Links for March 27th

Welcome to the evening edition of Sunday Links. This past week brought some fun and exciting news.


Marvel announced a new team-up this week....with Starbucks. Coming in April to each Starbucks is free streaming access to Marvel's Digital Comics. Do you think they are ready for the geek invasion?


The Egypt revolution changed the world, and now we will get to see what exactly was changed. Magdy El Shafee wrote the graphic novel "Metro" in 2008, but it was banned in Egypt. Now it is going to be published in English and hopefully, it will be allowed to publish again in Egypt.


Jill Pantozzi, aka The Nerdy Bird, announced this week that she will be a judge on the upcoming geek game show, Geek vs. Geek. It's a chance for geeks to put their brains to the test and see who really is the top geek. You can still try out for the show if you think you got what it takes; just be glad that Jill is judging and not competing. ;)


I'm sure every artist wishes they could go back to their early work and make it better, or at least make it go away. That's what Ryan Ottley did, by actually burning original art from his early years. At least some of the pages were from early issues of Invincible, which means he burned a lot of money.


I am already excited for Superman, and this news just makes it even better. Amy Adams is the new Lois Lane. She is a phenomenal actress in every role I have seen her in, from her guest role on Buffy, to her starring roles in Doubt, Julia & Julie, and The Fighter.
