Hi everyone! How's the new year been for everyone so far? It's been pretty busy for us here at IGH, but we didn't forget about you wonderful people. As you can see, we're starting to get back into the swing of things, and this year is going to rock. We have a bunch of great things happening here, and we can't wait to share them with you.
One of the things I've been doing is going through all the videos I've been sent or found. There were a lot of videos to sift through. Here are a few.

Video Awesomeness!!!
Hi-Diddly-Di! One of the best things I love about this holiday season is all the great videos that are popping up. I thought about doing one specifically for the holidays but then some great trailers premiered and then there were Jedi Ninja battles so I'm just going to give up a mish-mosh of all of them! (Yea, I said that.) Let's start with those Jedi Ninjas.

Finally, we'd like to dedicate this last video to Roy, one of our more active FB page members. He mentioned Calvin & Hobbes snowmen and we found this video inspired by Calvin, the "greatest snowman mass murderer of our time."

Enjoy everyone!

As you know, the world lost a great innovator this week. Steve Jobs lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a man who changed the world and his legacy will live on forever. Here is a video of his speech from the 2005 Commencement at Stanford University. Words of wisdom from a great man. RIP Steve Jobs. Thank you for all you have done. You will be missed.

Video Friday! 9/9/11 (Late Night Edition)
Hi everybody! It's Friday and you know what that means... Videos!
This is one of the strangest things you'll see this week or in the upcoming weeks. I know it's an old clip but it is still insane and amusing.

Pika Pika!

This is really cool but sometimes the guy looks a little creepy.

This is all kinds of awesome. I <3 stop motion.

Video Friday! 8/19/11
Happy Friday!!! Here's what's been floating around the web.
This has to be one of my all time favorite "celebrities doing awesomely funny things on tv" moments. Not only does Anne Hathaway prove she can rap but her "I can't believe I just did that" expression and blush makes the whole thing even better.
All I can say about this is WANT!
via Geeks Are Sexy
Dark Horse Comics posted this on their Facebook page and it was too good to resist. Who knew Ewoks could move?
This one raises a very good point. If they had the ability to go back in time, why not use it? Why leave it to a child to save the world? Just sayin'
via Dorkly
Finally, this shows us what people are really thinking when dealing with others in the game of office politics. Is it exaggerated? Of course, but it is also pretty true and that's what makes it great.

Have a fantabulous weekend!

Video Friday! 8/12/11
Happy Friday one and all! Here are some great videos that popped up this week.
This remake of the classic Pinball Number 12 brought back some nice memories. It's one of the few old timey bits they still play on Sesame Street.
Cuddle like a pro with Uncle Jesse himself with the help of a very special friend.
I have been pretty vocal about my feelings on Google+, but I think this sums it up better.
via Geeks Are Sexy
I admit my love of Game of Thrones is starting to become a little consuming, but dagnabit, this is funny! Also NSFW!
via CollegeHumor
And finally, it's the games of old dealing with the new games, Godfather style.

Til next time!

Video Friday! 7/8/11
Here are some great videos floating around that little 'verse we call the interwebz.
This is just too great! Shopping while you wait? Sign me up!

This is a gorgeous rendition of The Game of Thrones theme, which I found via Ms. Felicia Day on Google+. It's moments like these I wish I still played an instrument. Jason Yang is simply wonderful.
It's about time someone had some fun with the NFL lockout.
This just became one of my favorite True Blood parodies. Bill and Sookie's accents are spot on. Thank you Geek Girl Diva for posting this.
Nathan Fillion wants to help you combat a terrible problem afflicting gamers.

Have a great weekend everyone! Next week, it's all about Harry Potter!

Video Friday! 6/24/11
Hello everyone! I have returned from my adventures. I can't remember the last time I was so unplugged from the world. It was nice, but now I'm playing catch up, and it looks like I've missed a lot. Here's some of what's been going on.

For this last one, I kinda nearly fell over watching this. It's almost my most geeky dream come true - Wolverine and Barney Stinson singing and dancing! All I need is for Mal Reynolds to join and I would've died with happiness. If someone want to make that happen, I'll gladly support it.
Have a great weekend!

Video Friday! 6/3/11
Hey all! I will be traveling for a chunk of June, but I didn't want to leave you without some great videos, so for the next few weeks, I'm going to be highlighting a few of the websites I've found the videos at. This week is all about the site Geeks Are Sexy.
That last one is my current favorite. Have a great weekend!

Video Friday! 5/27/11
Happy Friday everyone!
Before we dive into the fun, a bit of sad news. Last week, the wrestling community lost one of its greats, Macho Man Randy Savage. He was a brilliant wrestler, entertainer and spokesman. (Snap into a Slim Jim!) He was one of my favorites and a long time ago, in an airport I don't remember, I got to meet him and Miss Elizabeth. I was trying to find a clip to highlight Macho Man's awesomeness but there was so much to choose from. I eventually came across this clip, courtesy of My Take Radio, and this shows part of why I liked him so much. There's no question about his talent as a wrestler but he was also charismatic and hilarious. Definitely a guy I'd want to have a few drinks with.
Here's to you, Macho Man! Our thoughts are with your family and friends.
Wednesday was Geek Pride Day, so I've been on the lookout for the geekiest videos I could find this week. Here are a few.
