Unboxed: Japanese Blind Bag Random Figure Review Rumble 1

I don't know Japanese toys at all. Kotobukiya is probably the brand I know best. I like Japanese toys when I see them, but I just don't spend time with them. Which is precisely why Matthew from NerdNewsToday put together a Japanese version of the Blind Bag Random Figure Review Rumble 1. Yeesh! Talk about a mouthful. Unboxed: FanSets Harry Potter Blind Bag Pins Series 1

Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I are back with a review we have both been waiting to do. Today, we're going to be unboxing (unbagging?) the Target Exclusives Harry Potter Collectors Pins from FanSets. 

A relatively young company, FanSets has exploded in the pin markets. They have an extensive collection of pins ranging from Justice League to Firefly to Harry Potter and to the franchise that really helped them cement their spot as the go-to place for awesome pins, Star Trek. 

One of the things I love about them is their creativity. They don't just put out great products; they're really creative in their designs and execution. Like this for example. I never would have expected to see a blind bag collection for pins, but it works. It actually took me a while to find them. For weeks, every Target I went to was sold out. I got lucky. Unboxed: Kawaii Squeezies

Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I are back with some adorable fun! Emzo's Kawaii Squeezies are the soft, squishy toy that's great for kids, because kids love to throw and squeeze and hit things with their toys, and this doesn't cause much damage, and fantastic for adults. Focusing on the adults for a second, these are super cute, collectible, and excellent to use as a stress reliever. How can someone stay super stressed when you have a smiling hamburger to smoosh in your hands? Check it out and decide for yourself. Then tell us which one of these you'd like to get your hands on.

Unboxed: Awesome Little Green Men Series 1

Awesome Little Green Men. The name alone is intriguing. Why are they so awesome? It pulls you in. But I first heard of these and thought they were creative, but it wasn't my cup of toy tea. My nephew changed my opinion. He received several for his birthday and not only were these cooler than I had realized, but he got one of the super rares. It was pretty darn awesome. 

Matthew at NerdNewsToday knew nothing about them, so getting a chance to unbox and review them with him was fun. Especially when he found out that not only are these cool figures, but they're also a game. We haven't had a chance to play it yet. That's a video for another day, but watch on as we have fun with Major Boo-Boo, Captain Obvious, and more.

Unboxed: Titans Vinyl Star Trek The Original Series "Where No Man Has Gone Before" Collection

Alright, people, strap in. We're about to go on an adventure with the latest collection of Titans Vinyl Figures. It's the Star Trek "Where No Man Has Gone Before" set! Not only does collection make my Trekkie heart happy just by existing, but included are Yeoman Janice Rand (forgive my butchering of her title) and Nurse Christine Chapel. While they did not get as much recognition as Uhura, they are every bit as important to the fabric of the Star Trek Universe. As for the rest of the collection, watch as Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I dive in.

Funko X-Men Mystery Minis Blind Box Unboxing and Review

Happy 4th of July! It seems weirdly fitting that today's video review is of a lovable group of outsiders who just want to be able to live their lives in peace and without being horribly regulated and restricted. That's right, Matthew at NerdNewsToday and I are reviewing America!

Ok, if you've read the title (I'm assuming you have), you know that a lie. We're reviewing the Funko X-Men Mystery Minis. The X-Men are my team. They're the ones I related to the most and were my gateway into comics. These Mystery Minis are near and dear to me. Of course, this means I'm about to be subjected to some kind of roller coaster of a ride while looking at these. Was this a good ride filled with happiness or one that left me bitterly disappointed? Ghostbusters 2 Titans Vinyl blind box figures - FULL BOX Unboxed

There's something strange in the neighborhood. Who you gonna call? Me and Matthew from NerdNewsToday, so we can unbox and review them! 

In honor of Ghostbusters Day, Matthew and I are unboxing the Ghostbusters 2 Vinyl Figures from Titans! This box was a very exciting one for both of us, but don't let the thumbnail fool you. Matthew's the one who can barely contain himself. Not that I can blame him. This is fun box. If you're a fan, you'll want to see this.

K'Nex Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare Mystery Figures Series 4 Unboxed

Plants vs. Zombies is one of those games I wish I spent more time with, but I get a little overzealous with games, so I try not to play too many of them. At least not the ones I know I can get obsessive over. PvZ is one of those games. I also really like the comics. They amuse me, so when Matthew at NerdNewsToday wanted to review the Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare Mystery Figures Series 4 from K'Nex, I was all in. Watch and enjoy the silly faces I make as we review them.

K'Nex Super Mario Mystery Figures Series 9 Unboxed

Titans Vinyl Buffy the Vampire Slayer Unboxed

This time, Matthew from NerdNewsToday and I took a look at the Titans Vinyl Buffy the Vampire Slayer set. This was the set I was most excited about for our first round of Titans reviews (yes, there will be more, we love Titans). I don't want to give to much away, but this box gave me a bunch of feelings.

Toy Fair '14: Loot Crate Review

While at Toy Fair last week, we got a chance to meet and greet with the guys behind Loot Crate.  In case you don't know about Loot Crate, they are a monthly loot service.  Each month, you get a themed crate (box) of goodies, all perfectly suited for any geek.  These crates have ranged in theme, from animation to zombies to gaming.

With the help of The Fight Nerd over at Nerdvolution, we took the opportunity to film our unboxing in the Javitz Center cafeteria!  Enjoy the lovely scenery as we take a peek into the January Loot Crate.
